The Mission

Being an animal lover my whole life, my hope is to do my part in raising awareness on the issue of animal homelessness and to give back to my community.....

"Compassion for animals is intimately connected with goodness of character; and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man." ~ Arthur Schopenhauer

Welcome Callahan ~ Now known as Callie

One day while visiting our local town beach, Callahans Beach, here in Smithtown, we noticed an adorable black kitten.  The kitten had to be approximately 4 to 5 months old.  Here is a picture of Callahan two days before this cute little kittie was trapped.  Callahan lived at the beach, hence the kitties name, all by it's self.   There were no signs of any siblings or a mommy.  We decided this cute kittie should be trapped, neutered or spayed and socialized in hopes to find the kittie a home.  We do not know, at this time, if the kittie is a he or a she ^..^

I promise to update the trials and tribulations on socializing Callie on a regular basis as well as the other kittie update.....       Thank you for following ^..^
