Hemingway Update and New Rescue

Hemingway, Grandpa, is feeling so much better.  He is out and about and back to his normal self and possibly even better.  Thank goodness!  Due to his age, he has some limitations but overall as spry as possible for his age.  

Now as of November 1st we trapped Callahan a beautiful black long haired kitten.  Richard does all the trapping ~ thank you to Richard.  Callahan appears to be a boy and he was all by himself at Callahan's Beach in Smithtown. Not sure what happened to his mommie or siblings if he had them, but whenever we would go to feed him, Callahan was the only one who would come out for food.  I will post some pictures of this cute little boy.  Still working on socializing him which is progressing slowly since he seems to be approximately 6 to 8 months old.  The older they are when trapped the longer it takes to earn their trust.  Once that happens he will need to be neutered.
